We are all members of the Academic community. We should treat each other with respect and use proper ethics in our work. Here are
some things students should be aware of:
- You should show respect for your fellow classmates, your TAs and your instructor. No disrespectful behaviour will be tolerated under any circumstances.
- Refrain from talking in class and in general avoid behaviour that will distract others' attention.
- Come to class on time and if you have to be late, try at least not to be noisy.
- Group work is strongly encouraged but proper credit should be given to any cooperation. If two students work together on their homework, then that should be
acknowledged on both works.
- Plagiarism during exams will not be tolerated. In most cases it is easily detectable through common unusual mistakes.
- Talk to your instructor about any problems that may prevent you from performing up to your expectations.
- Any concerns about the class pace, material, sections, quizzes and homework should be promptly discussed with your instructor.
